Over the River - in progress &
The Gates - May/June 2005
Description of "Over the River, Project for the Arkansas River,
State of Colorado" (in progress):
translucent fabric panels suspended over steel wire cables anchored on
the river banks creating a shimmering 10.7 km (6 miles) long stream following
the configuration and width of the changing course of the River, planned
for July/August 2008.
ALP GALLERIES is paying tribute to this project as we did to "The Gates, Project for Central Park, New York City."
